Besides just feeling amazing! Massage therapy can help reduce stress, relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote overall relaxation and well-being.
Yes, it is, however that depends on your areas of concern. I recommend booking 90 minutes to ensure you still have plenty of time on the table for your treatment. First consult entails Postural Analysis, Range of Motion and Special Testing if required, this does take up part of the treatment time, therefore, to get the most out of your first treatment 90 minutes is a suitable time for first consultation.
You can expect a thorough assessment of your needs and concerns, followed by a tailored massage session designed to address your specific issues. Your therapist will discuss your medical history, any current symptoms and your goals for the session to ensure the best possible outcome. Re-assessing and discussing a treatment plan (if needed) will occur at the end of your treatment. The aim to give you maximum time on the table for your treatment.
Remedial massage can involve some discomfort as it is focused on addressing specific musculoskeletal issues, particularly if you have areas of tension or injury, however you should never be in pain. Your therapist will always work within your comfort level communicating with you throughout the session to ensure you receive the most effective treatment without unnecessary pain. The goal is to alleviate discomfort & promote healing.
Please mention if your prone to break outs prior to your appointment as there may be an alternative oil that can be used for your treatment. If areas like your back and face are where you break out, you can wiped down those areas with a warm cloth following your treatment. Alternatively, taking a shower when your return home to remove any excess oil can help.

Absolutely! As long as the music is within reason for the setting (acoustic versions, or soft version playlists are encouraged. No heavy metal, rock or hip-hop). This is your space for your treatment, you can let me know your genre of music and I can try accommodating this for you.
Some of the MOST COMMON comments and apologies I get during a treatment, so lets address them together.
Hairy, no problems at all - more oil helps to elevate the pulling on body hair. Alternatively, if your too uncomfortable, we can try some different techniques to achieve results during your treatment.
Body Conscious - Don't be! Bodies come in all shapes and sizes. Honestly, I am not looking at your body. I am looking at and palpating your muscles. I'm here to help you!
Underwear Conscious - I don't see them! Your comfort and privacy is my priority so you are draped in a professional way to ensure you are comfortable and covered with only the area being treated exposed.
Didn't Shave or wax - Don't stress! I didn't notice until you mentioned it. Seriously - once a treatment begins I am focused on your soft tissue and what it is presenting. I don't care if your legs or underarms are on the wild side - Mine probably are too!!
It starts with a conversation! Talk to your HR Manager about your current Employee Benefits / Wellness Program to see if they are interested in adding Corporate Massage. Ensure you discuss why you think it will be of benefit you, or alternatively you provide my details and I will happily chat with them about the benefits.
